Just got back from a camping trip, I’ll do a better post later tomorrow or something but I just thought I’d show you the Wrangler I got to drive off road for a bit
It’s a very, very different animal from my Raider. Sport S, 3.6, 8 speed auto, 2.5” lift with Fox shocks, and 33” Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. I can’t believe how nice to drive it is over awful roads. Like where I’m in 1st gear dealing with deep potholes, it can just float over them at 50-60km/h. It’s fantastic. It also got us to this view
And this
My truck could’ve got us there too, but I would’ve needed a couple 20L jerry cans, and I would’ve been exhausted by trying not to roast my clutch for a couple hours.

I see the Warn winch on the front, too. Smart. Getting the Fox shocks & the Warn winch from the dealer means you don’t void the warranty.

They’re a lot of fun. What I want now is an off-road/road trip/winter daily

Driving that Jeep today definitely has me wanting one more, but I’m also strongly considering a Taco for camper reasons
